Sakip Sabanci Kandilli Education and Culture Center commissioned in 2005, has been established on a total of 12,635 square-meter area and has a closed area of 7,175 square meters.

Before passing away, Adile Sultan donated the Adile Sultan Palace to the Department of National Education for the building to be used as a girls’ school. During the period in which the building was being used as Kandilli Girls’ High School, a big fire occurred and the building was later restored with the contributions of Mr. Sakip Sabanci. Adile Sultan Palace, which was repaired in 2005 with the joint effort of the Ministry of National Education, The Governorship of Istanbul, Sabanci Foundation, and Kandilli Girls’ High School Education and Culture Foundation (KANKEV) has started to provide service as “Sakip Sabanci Kandilli Education and Culture Center – Adile Sultan Palace”.

Inside Adile Sultan Palace, which is one of the most prestigious organization facilities of Istanbul, the halls, embellished with golden leaf decorations capture the view of the Strait under their high ceilings. The Palace includes the Oval Room, generally used for banquets and meetings and with a capacity of 500 people, 2 meeting rooms, each with a 200 person capacity, a cocktail and exhibition area of 1,300 square meters and 20 seminar rooms, each with a 30-40 person capacity. In addition, many events are hosted in the Palace Garden, which can hold up to 2,000 people.
