Sakıp Sabancı was born on April 7, 1933 in the village of Akçakaya, Kayseri. He is the second child of Hacı Ömer Sabancı and Sadıka Sabancı, who have six children. The Sabancı family immigrated to Adana in 1921, which Sadun Tanju described as the Tower of Babel, which hosts many ethnic and religious groups such as Arabs, Kurds, Jews, Bulgarians, and Tunisians.
In the family, respect for the elders, love for the little ones, above all, the strength of the family ties is important. These feelings lie in the aim of joining hands and sharing a lifetime.
